Everyone was pleased with the outcome, because it was not known until the day before if there was definitely going to be a Banquet. Ag Has Active Year The Mason chapter of the Future Farmers of America held their banquet in the Mason High School Cafeteria on May 9, 1978. After the barbeque dinner was served by the State Champion Meats Team with assistance from the Freshman FFA'ers, the individual honors were presented. Tori Schuessler received the Best judge Award. The Star Co-op Award was presented to Danny Dockal. Four in- Tori Schuessler dividuals, Mark Spaulding, Darby Keller, Brad Holt, ant Henry Dominguez received the Gary lohnson Awardf Wade Schuessler was named Star Chapter Farmer, li Eckert-Lone Star Farmer, and Randy Kruse-Sta' Creenhand. Juniors and Seniors Catch The junior-Senior Prom portrayed the theme Saturday Night Fever by incorporating u- niqueness and imagination. The banquet was held in the Mason High School Cafeteria on May 13, 1978, at 8:00 p. m. The prom was held in the Elementary Gymnasium following the banquet. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. The prophecies for the Senior Class of T978 were read by Eli Castillo and Robert Bowers providing entertainment for all. Music is played bv leff Mazuk. Are some people immune to Saturday Night Fever? VI ' Scott Schmidt seems to have lost his partner. Everyone enjoys the meal served by the Sophomore waiters and waitresses. Mr. and Mrs. Geistweidt and Mr. and Mrs. Eckert are Leslie Mansell really gets into his dancing, sponsors for the prom. 24
