The Student Council has chosen KENNETH DURST as the Student of the Month for October. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Durst. Kenneth is a Senior student this year. He served as vice president of his class during his junior year and was also chosen class favorite the same year. He was a member of the annual staff for three years. He was representative to the Student Council for two years. Kenneth has participated in sports,playing base- ball his first three years in high school and football his last three years. He is one of the captains for the present football team. Kenneth has excelled in F.F.A. work. He has been a member all four years of high school and during this time has served as vice presi- dent his Iunior year and is president of the local F.F.A. chapter this year. He is also serving as vice president of this area of the F.F.A. at the present time. Kenneth has also been a member of the poultry judging team and the livestock judging team for two years. The daughter of Mrs. Louise Simp- son, LOU ANN TAYLOR has be en wisely chosen as Student of the Month for November by the Mason High Student Cotmcil. Lou Ann, a senior, is a member of the Student Council this year. She has also been a member of the band four years, a member of the Spanish Club during Sophomore year, and a member of the Speech Club her Junior year. The parliamentarian of the F.H.A. this year,LouAnn has been a mem- ber of that organization for four years. Last year, Lou Ann was a member of the Speech Club's one-act play cast. Also, she participated in last year's district Interscholastic League competition in the poetry reading contest. Concerning sports, Lou Ann was a member of the girls' basketb all team during her freshman and sophomore years, and a member of the volleyball team her sophomore and junior years. 4. , ,yn ' fr Ffa: Q . Q The Student Council of Mason High has selected LENORE IDEFFLER as Student of the Month for March. She is a Senior this year and during the four years of high school has done quite a lot for the school. Lenore has been a member in good standing of the F.H.A. for four years. She has served as president of the organization her last two years. She has been an outstanding student in her studies. This is shown by her being on the honor roll every six weeks with all A's. Lenore served as Freshman class re- porter and was editor of the junior paper. She has been on various committees this year and served as chairman of the Senior assembly program committee. In the recent school elections Le- nore was a runner-up for Senior class favorite and also for Most Outstanding Girl in high school. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Loeffler.
