GORDON DAVVSON History, Coach M Club Q The aim of this club is to promote school spirit and to set examples of good sportsmanship and citizenship. The boys' club is composed of boys who have earned letters in one or more of the three major sports or as managers of these sports. The M which the member Wears designates more than being a member of the clubg it designates a season of hard work and courage, good sportsmanship, and the will to do. It is truly an honor and privilege to receive and wear the letter of Mason High School. During the year We have initiation and banquets. To earn money We sell novelties, and each year buy some new equip- ment for athletics. This year we bought football equipment. Each year from the rural districts come boys who help make up our teams. They have contributed much to the success of the past Mason teams and will continue to do so. The success and popularity of the club is clue to the efficient members and the able coach, Mr. Dawson. 'ghesegyay horse is the better 0 The Girls Athletic Club of Mason High School has completed another year ot activities and it has been a very successful year under the direction of Miss Hildebrand. The purpose ot this organization is two-told: first, to promote athletics for the girls: second, to develop good sportsmanship, loyalty, leadership and cooperation among the group. The girls have worked hard toward earning an M for the year and in doing this it was necessary for them to complete a total of ten sport seasons. Sports played during the year were softball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, track, and also minor sports including shuttle-board, darts, badminton, ping- pong, ice and roller skating and hiking. . 6 OFFICERS President ... ...
