M.S. in Agriculture Education, and Ed.S from the Uni- versity of Kentucky. He has been in education for 40 years and has been at Mason County High School since its beginning twenty-five years ago. Before the opening of our school. Mr. Chumbler taught agricul- ture at Mays' Lick High School. As well as teaching vocational agriculture and being assistant principal. Mr. Chumbler sponsors the Future Farmers of Ameri- ca or FFA. 129 This year Mason County High School was visited by an exchange student from Brazil. Ediou. Eduardo Gomyde Pre- ton i, stayed with Adam Vos. a senior. Ediou likes the United States very much and would like to study at Morehead if he could get a scholarship. Ediou also likes Mason County High School because we are crazy and we are very different from Brazil. In Brazil the classes are much harder but the sports are better here. When Ediou left he said he would miss the Ameri- can parties, his friends, and American girls. He prefers American way of life because its better for teenagers. Ediou s favorite city is Los Angeles. Although our efforts against Harrison County Thoroughbreds were everything except successful, the students had a great time at the dance which followed. This year, like all other years, we 've had to deal with deadlines and getting pictures back from the studios. Aside from the problems that go along with being editor. have enjoyed working with the yearbook staff. The cooperation on the part of all the members was much appreciated. I would like to extend a special thanks to Shelia Reese Kennedy who put up with me running around, screaming trying to get pages completed so that we could send them in to the company.
