Early ln the fall a bake sale was sponsored by them and on December 9th after a ball game they were in charge of a dance . In February they gave a Leap Year dance. The Junior Class started out their next to last year in MCHS with an exciting excur- sion to the Gail Thies farm. This excursion was called a Hay Rack Ride . The main discussion during this excursion was class rings which were to be ordered the following Thursday. While the Juniors were waiting for these all important rings they indulged in tivities including a bake sale selling soft drinks at the basketball games, dances many ac , after basketball games, all school parties and various other activities . The rings arrivew the middle of November. After this big occasion was over the Juniors took an aptitude test. The results were t ld in Ma . During that time the Juniors participated in many activities . A few of these 0 Y were: Chili Supper, selling sausage and serving for the Alumni Banquet. Also we had another bake sale. The juniors enjoyed their third year of high school immensely and look forward to their Senior Year. -,1g--

There 13 ' th tud hall, they enjoyed a weiner roast. The class held a dance on October 1n e s y which was called the Harvest Hop. On October 22 the class held a paper drive and the ' d b th following Saturday they took the paper to Pekin. A coat check was sponsore y e Freshmen during basketball season and a sock hop was held in the gym on March l6.
