As we look back over our memorable years ln h1gh school our Freshman year seems to stand out above all We carefree Freshmen under the assrstance of our farthful sponsors Mrs Grrebel and Mr Stout elected Alex I-larwlck as our leader through the trouble and strrfe of our ftrst year A1d1ng our great chlef was Pat Kolar our vrce presr dent Evelyn Seyer drllgently kept our mlnutes Sandra Flnley managed our meek budget and Beth Ann McCand1ess reported our news Pat Hoerdt and B111 Fretvogel were our representatrves to the Great Councrl We selected Nancy Schumer as the farrest of our trrbe to be our candldate for Basketball Queen The remarnder of the year passed wlth the usual number of trrals and trlbulatrons Now that we were Sophomores and aware of the happenrngs of htgh school ltfe e agaln under the sponsorshtp of Mrs Grtebel and Mr Stout chose Pat Kolar to gurde us rn our long venture Don Stern asslsted our most able prestdent as v1ce presrdent and Evelyn Seyer agarn kept our minutes Th1S year Don Barttelbort handled our more stable budget whxch we lncreased by selllng magazrnes Deanne Kessler reported our under takrngs throughout the year Carolyn Hesker was our chotce as the Queen of B lsketball Pat Hoerdt and Harold Knoth were our representattves to the most rmportant organrza t1on rn our school the Student Councxl Now that our Junror year came along and we were frnally upperclassmen we agarn prepared to carry out our dutres by honorlng George Wesselmann as our leader Atdlng our most wtse one as v1ce presrdent was Jerry Johnson Pat Everett very efftcrently kept our mlnutes and B1ll Brltsch managed our steadlly gtowlng budget Jackre Caden reported all our news Judy McGough Don Barttelbort Jack Madtgan and Llndell Carr were our Student Counctl representatrves th1s year and Pat Everett was our candl date for Basketball Queen To earn money we vtgorously worked selltng magazlnes and candy Also we sponsored a successful bake sale Our work was well rewarded when we very proudly presented a lovely banquet and prom carrled out 1n an Orlental theme We hope the Senlors enjoyed our Ortental Holtday At last we were Honorable Senlors In our last and most rmportant year we chose Don Ste1n to lead us to our f1nal goal Helprng Don carry out our SCIIVIIICS were Ted Stumpf as vlce presrdent and Dorls Spaeth as our secretary B111 Brltsch handled our money We were honored to have C C D Annlbale the candrdate from our Sentor Class as the Basketball Queen Harold Knoth was elected presrdent of the Student Councrl by the Student body Sandra Frnley Pam Morrrson and Don Barttelbort were the other representatrves from our class We selected M155 Graesser Mr Votratn and Mr Grrebel as sponsors to help us make our declsrons In our efforts to talse money we presented a frne play enutled On the Nxght of January 16th We are now about to complete the best four years of our llfe We would lxke to thank the sponsors teachers prlnclpals and all others who sacrxfrced the1r t1me to help make our years at M C H S the best we have known We hope everyone follow tng tn our footsteps has as many wonderful experrences frrendshtps and as much fun as we have had 29 1 ' ' ' A , ,I i 4'A,. -D ,Ag 'Y-'1 -. .'.,.'A Il- 1'.,w..
