CLASS WILL We, the class of 1952, of Mascot Consolidated High School, the County of Harlan, and of the State of Nebraska, being of sound mind and body after four strenuous years, do hereby make, publish, and declare this our last will and testa- ment, hereby revoking all former wills, bequests, and devices of whatever nature or formerly heretofore made by us. We. the Senior class will: To the Juniors our Sponsor, To the Sophomore: our willingess. To the Freshmen our dignity and neatness, To the Facutly our vim, vigor, and vitality. Dean Arehart wills his crew cuts and ability to handle Chevy's to Marvin Lubeck. Dale Brand wills his ability to keep and maintain order in the assembly to Davis Drake. Dick Larsen wills his ability to study and keep out of trouble to Leslie Drake. Janis Ludeke wills the 'Presidency of the Pep Club to Delores Deita. Larry Kresser wills his No. 12 basketball shoes and height to Carol Pouk. Betty Luke wills her giggle and pug nose to Darrel K. Lubeck. Carla Broeker wills her golden hair to Jackie Longsign. lrelee Luke wills his ability to get his lessons to Bobby S.

SENICDR PROP!-IECY It is now the year 1960 and our: tele-snooper set has begun, to wfarm up. We are about ready to tune in on different parts of this old world. in an attempt to find where the SENIORS of 1952 are, and what they are doing. The first picture to come into focus is none other than IRELEE LUKE. MlSgt. IRELEE LUKE to be exact. The Sarge is drilling a platoon of boots at the marine base in San Diego. Sgt. LUKE is a salty veteran of many cam- paigns. and his chest is a veritable snow-job of ribbons 25 citations. Sorry Folks- but we'll have to dial another location. Some of the words these Marine Ser- geants use!! But then boots can be pretty stupid at times. Our next picture has lost some of the blue haze created by IRELEE'S free- wheeling tongue, and now we can see our old friend CARLA BROEKER- She is living in Buenos Aires. Her husband is a rich Argentine dairy man- CARLA'S extensive experience with the Bovin,e population of Mascot has certainly been of value to her husband. ,Too many cows have crowded into the tele-snooper view finder. and so we can't keep track of CARLA. We'll 'move on. Now that the snow has cleared we have located John L. Lewis's succes- sor--- the rich, Richard Larson. Dick .mianaged to succeed Mr. Lewis by the strength of his bushy brows. DICK decided than' the best way to reduce tun,nel accidents was to stop using tunnels. A pure stroke of genius don't you think. The coal dust has begun to clog our machinery so We'll have to focus on some- one else. Our tele-snooper lens seems to be a little dirty .from our last location or is that just a messy pallette we see. Sure. that's what it is, and there is BETTY LUKE daubing away at an easel. No doubt she's creating another of her FAB- ULOUS FASHIONS FOR FASHIONABLE FEMALES- BETTY'S creative genius has swept her to the top in the designing world. From our vantage point, that pprticular design will never be any good anyway- Who threw that can of paint, We've always heard that she had a slight temper. so maybe we'd better pack up and try another subject- Back again with another picture on the tele-snooper and this one is our old pal DEAN AREHEART. Coach Areheart now has charge of the Los Ange- les Rams. The coach finally gave up playing pro ball himself after he lost like a bald-headed coach he'd just las well be one. Time is running short so We'll hurry on to another old grad. and see what LARRY KRESSER is doing now. Professor KRESSER has just finished lectur- ing to a group of giggling girls at Vassar College- The Prof is head of the psychology departmene and finds the subject very useful in handling the myr- iad of young ladies. whom he comes into contact with. The next alumnus that we are snooping on is Janis Ludeke. After JANIS left Mascot High she enrolled in Phogbound U. where she majored in Educa- tion. JANIS is now the very efficient principal of Westminister High in Wash- ington D. C. JANIS is expecting to retire from teaching and 'move into the po- liticall field. We've heard that her philosophy is: Teachers are fools for work- and politicians work for fools . We'll have to leave our Senator-to-be, and pick up our last 1952 grad. There he is on the screen now-good old DALE BRAND with a heart of gold amd pockets to match- DALE married a domineering woman. ahd has real- ly helped move him to the top- He started out as a small farmer, but now that he owns all of Harlan County and three other neighboring counties, we can call him a big time operator- They say he has a lovely home--shall we take a peek? YIKE-he's got a tele-snooper set in his front room. We better scram before he -finds out who has invaded the privacy' of his domain. Besides, there is a law a- gainst peeping-toms.
