The goals are always the same ... to create something new and exciting, to be bigger and better, and to make a lasting impression as no one has done before. This year was no exception . . . btxtthings ji ist didn’t seem to fall into place. How about a generic yearbook?” No, that says we’re just ordinary . . . 0 we all know that the class of ’87 is anything but ordi- naryl How about making it like a handbook?” No, we’ve already got a calendar handbook and no one reads that!” How about making it like a cookbook . . . you know, recipes for aterrfic future or something like that?” We’re just getting hungry . . . better eat and think about it over the summer ...” Later . . . Oh, my God, guys, it’s already . . . September 25th and here we are heading to the meeting with our publishing reps Tommy and Guy in Woburn to announce our decisions of theme, cover, type, ink, color, etc. . . . We had better make up our minds what we’re going to tell them. We’re run- ning out of time!” Time . . . that’s it! Everyone runs out of time . . . No one ever has enough time . . . Weeks are always longer than weekends . . . how about a day in the Ife”?” All in favor, say eye.” EYE!!” All opposed, say nay. ” It’s settled . . . where should we park?” We therefore, start our journey through some typical days in the Ife” of Masco here, while we can’t possibly know what everyone toes every waking hour of the week we sure hope that you can all fit yourselves in between the lines. May the day begin!

Mamie SaiHa shids off her alarm clock and prepares for ihe early morning bus run from West Boxford. The Oibeley’s haven t yet realized that they even forgot to set their alarm clock. Mr. Smith leaves North Conway, New Hampshire ( or does he?). Malana Dries lays out her cosmetics and ' — prepares to do battle with the mirror and hair dryer. Mr. Casey drives to school in order to fit in his daily run. Mark Butterworth gets up early to work on his scrapbook for Mr. Brown. Mrs. Hopper is just finishing up a nice hot bowl of Duaker oats with brown sugar to complement a steaming cup of cocoa for Liz. Mr. McPhearson, Mr. ( Chris) Brown, and Mr. Carr unlock the doors, start up the boilers, and raise the flag. . . another day of school has begun. Mr. Craig is off to a guick start giving his dog. Pi, a walk through Danvers. Bill Murphy , in haste, misses yet another bus. Cyrus Wong makes his break off the bus for the smoking area. Jeanine Eschenbach arrives at 7:45 and is dismissed at 8:55 for another orthodontist appointment. Michon savors her last sip of java before her hectic day. Ul so ff lDAY 24 7
