Mr. Soucy could easily be called the single person at Masconomet who has touched each student individually. Whether it be a brief word of congratulations for a personal achievement or a warning of too many demerits, he has in some way reached out to all of us. Mr. Soucy can never be found sitting in his office daydream- ing. He is a man of constant motion and activity, watching over all the students each day of the school year. Because of this, everyone is very much aware of his presence. Even beyond his daily job within the doors of Masconomet he is involved with school activities, attending every- thing from the football games to the theater productions. His job is not an easy one, yet as seniors we now realize the importance he has had in our days at Masconomet. He is always there when you need him and willing to help. Dedication When it came time for the yearbook dedication we thought of all the people at Masconomet who affected our class in a positive way. We came to realize that there were two individuals who stood above all the others in their own special way. One has affected our class as a whole, while the other has dealt with every member of the student body. We therefore would like to dedicate our 1982 year- book to both Mr. Richard Meegan and Mr. Nor- man Soucv. Mr. Meegan touched our class in a unique way. As freshmen and sophomores, not all of us realized the important role which he played in our class. However as junior year came to an end and senior year rolled around, we found that he had always been there looking out for our class’s well-being. As our class advisor he played a crucial role in our success. As a teacher he gave us a new understanding of ourselves, and as a person he was our friend. Therefore we would like to give one of our 1982 yearbook dedications to someone we owe many thanks to, Mr. Meegan. Timothy Kastrinelis, Class President
