DEDICA T10N “Mrs. D. - You’ve got to hear this. We’ve finished the theme page!” “Let’s hear it!” she urged enthusiastically. Mrs. D’Amario was never too busy to listen to our seemingly large accomplishments , which in reality were but a small part of the yearbook in its entirety. She never discarded our ideas , however ludicrous they may have seemed. We never heard a negative comment , unless it was preceded by a compliment. When she did criticize , it was definitely well justified. She encouraged us constantly and had an extremely enthusiatic attitude. She got as excited as we did when a group of pictures came back and we gathered around to see how they turned out. Mrs. D’Amario had a great deal of confidence in us all , even after we had almost lost the first page of the yearbook. She is an optimist in the true sense of the word . For these reasons , we would like to dedicate the 1980 MITOBO, “Beginnings” to Mrs. Alison D’Amario who , without a doubt , deserves this honor. 3
