3 2126 00143 350 2 We all dream of great deeds and high positions, away from the humdrum of ordinary life. Yet success is not occupying a lofty place or doing conspicuous work; it is being the best that is in you. Rattling around in too big a job is worse than filling a small one to overflowing. Dream, aspire by all means; but do not ruin the life you must lead by dreaming pipe dreams of the one you would like to lead. Make the most of what you have and are. Perhaps your trivial, immediate task is your one sure way of proving your mettle. Do the thing near at hand, and great things will come to your hand to be done. Douglas Mallock

Traditionally, the yearbook has been dedicated to one, possibly two people who the yearbook staff feel have done the most for the class. Although Mr. Meegan and Mrs. D ' Amario have been an immense help to us throughout the year, we feel there are many others that should not be ignored. Thus, this book is dedicated to something that is important to every member of the class-friendship. Be it teachers, family, pets, or other students, we all need friends. Where would we be if we didn ' t have that someone to turn to when we were down? The one who listened, gave advice, made you smile, and got you through it all when you were sure you would never make it. We ' d like this yearbook to be a reminder of that. So every time you look at it, you will recall your friends from high school — the people who helped to make you the best of what you are. DEDICATION 3
