jazhy 9149122 0117 ig 1 iii-4 Anxiously the class of i963 anticipates their N Senior bands and rings. Amid much excite- ment, emotion and re- newed resolutions, the class gathers to receive their blessed rings. lt is their reminder of their responsibility to duty of profession, school and self. The ring ceremony is a very symbolic occasion for the Maryview stu- dent. lt is a pause to renew her pledge of love. The ring itself is cir- cular and unending as devotion to duty, to her country, but most of all to God. The spinel stone is the student's favor of Mary's blue, she will live up to Mary's virtue and ideals. The stones durability symbolizes the strength which the Maryview nurse strives to build in every day of her life.
