turlent l.1lfv Stands lin es provide action d urjng season During football games, a lot more went on than many real- ized. Not only were there dedi- cated fans who would sweat through the teams' every touch- down, but there were those who didn't even know how the game of football was played. They were there to see friends or to find out what was going on after the game. Some people were dressed nicely, even more so than they dressed at school. They were probably going to one of the many dances held in the gym. There were those who joined the endless line at the refreshment stand during half-time. For those who were not hungary or thirsty, there was the half-time show to enjoy, but whether it was to so- cialize, watch, or just for some- thing to do, the football games were a fun and popular way to spend Friday nights. Sadly watching another Maryvale de- feat are Pete Torsiello and Scott Mar- quez fupper leftl. There are often as many parents as students at the Mary- vale games flower lettj.
