MH5 “Captures the Flag 18 Debbie Brower, Lora Coggins, Deb Downs, Debbie Currie, Janice Taylor, Vivian Woolman, Tina Wilson. Hard work and effort were the qualities that the 1980-81 Flag Girls displayed through their performances. Coached by Mrs. Jarchow, the Flag Girls provided part of our half time entertainment at the Varsity Football games. They also performed in the Sarnia Christmas Parade, Blue Water Festival Parade and the Cherry Festival Parade. Their captain was Tina Wilson. Captain Tina Wilson Homecoming Day Parade is a very special day around M.H.S. Flag girls also look forward to this day when they get to participate in the annual parade. Here they are led by Tina Wilson.

Valhallas are “Superf ection” Under the coaching of Mrs. Nancy Reid, the Marysville High School Valhallas have put on Pom-pon performances for the sports fans. They present their routines during all the boys basketball games, and some of the girls basketball games. They also perform at the home football games held here at M.H.S. Working two hours three nights a week, they have been able to exhibit great performances, according to the sport spectators. This past year they attended a speed — learn and competition dinic held at Stevenson High School, November 15. Eleven of the Valhalla members took a third place trophy, competing against eighteen other schools from the Detroit area. The same girls also performed for the Rotary Club at the American Legion on November 18 to Don ' t do me like that , by Tom Pretty, and the Heartbreakers! 1. Valhallas march during the Homecoming Day Parade. 2. Sandra Sedwick puts her spirit into motion. 3. Kathy Hart performs despite the rain during a pep rally.
