The story takes place in a very large old mansion on an island, where eight assorted guests are invited by an unknown host. The butler and the maid do not even know their employer. Each Little Indian , as the nursery rhyme goes is killed off as the story progresses. The final scene ends as the Judge, Sir Lawrence Wargrave, (Jim Rasor), turns out to be the murderer. He in turn is killed by Philip Lombard, (Dave Reardon) who saves Vera Claythorne ' s (Bonnie Smarch) life. “Hallo Dolly!” Hello Dolly! is the story of Mrs. Levi ' s efforts to marry Horace Vandergelder, the well-known half-a-millionaire, and send his money circulating among the people like rain water the way her late husband, Ephram Levi, taught her. Along the way she also succeeds in matching up the young and beautiful Widow Molloy with Vandergelder ' s head clerk, Cornelius Hack!: Cornelius ' assistant, Barnaby Tucker, with Mrs. Molloy ' s assistant, Minnie Fay; and the struggling artist Ambrose Kemper with Mr. Vandergelder ' s weeping niece, Ermengarde. Dolly tracks Vandergelder to his hay and feed store in Yonkerc, then by train back to Mrs. Molloy ' s hat shop in New York, out into the streets of the dty where they are all caught up in the great Fourteenth Street Association Parade, and finally to the most elegant and expensive restaurant in town, the Harmonia Gardens, where Dolly is greeted by the waiters, cooks, doormen and wine-steward in one of the most famous songs in the history of American Musical Comedy, Hello Dolly! Under the direction of Mrs. Campbell, the cast and crew pulled together a very large production. The chorus lines and show tunes, including the famous Hello Dolly! inspired a very pleasing response from the audiences who viewed this year ' s all-school musical on March 12, 13, 14. 1. Well hello Dolly! It ' s so nice to have you back where you belong ... (Denise Golubinski) 2. Chris Jowett and Vivian Wool man share a cozy table for two between rehearsal sessions. 3. A visit to Harmonia Gardens? 8
