These Are The Stars Who Steer Our Course I was a child Who ran full of laughter I was a child who lived for today My eyes full of sunshine My heart full of smiles was a child for a day . We were the children Who sang in the morning We were the children Who laughed at the sun Who listened to those who spoke with their wisdom. We are the ones who we would say f but We re getting older as time goes by A little older with every day We were the children of yesterday. We are the men who worry of nothing We are the men who fight without aim Who listen to no one , yet speak of our wisdom We are the pawns in the game. Lyrics and music by David Gordon and Paul Travis. Everybody always asks , “What does a Woodland Aide do?” They help supervise classes , the arriving and loading of students , and various lunch and recess activities. They help prepare charts , bulletin boards , set up audio-visual aids , and do some general clerical work. They establish a working relationship with both staff and students. The goal of a Woodland Aide is to coordinate actual work experience with the “ feeling ” aspects of working with handicapped young people. It is becoming more and more evident that some high school students have the maturity and strengths necessary to work in depth with the handicapped children. WOODLAND AIDES - 83 The 1977 Musical , South Pacific warmed the cold North with songs which told stories of love, loneliness and confusion. Many a lonely G.I. said , ‘ ‘There is Nothing Like A Darnel’ while many a confused nurse tried to “Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair ” Then one not-so-lonely G.I., Joe Cable , found enchantment on Bali Hai. He discovered how it felt to be in love. Emile de Becque , a French planter , fell in love with Ensign Nellie Forbush, and she in turn fell in love with him. But all was not sunshine and rainbows for the couple. Clouds of conflicts kept it from being so. But as time passed , so did the conflicts. And we find that even in the faraway South Pacific everyone has his very own “ Honey Bun ” and love can make one feel “ Younger Than Springtime ! 84 - THESPIANS The Nature Of Some Is In Third Row: Mike Turnbull, John Hollingsworth, Jeff Troy, Debbie Cochran, Lori Hillman, Chris Mader, Kim Wedge, Elaine Frizzle. Our kids join yours in school, church and on the playground. We work with you fixing and painting up the neighborhood. And get to- gether for good times at many of the same clubs and community organizations. And because being a part of your community is a pleasure for us. we hope it will be a pleas- ant experience for you. Your new McDonald ' s is part of a national organization that has sold billions of hamburgers. And. although numbers are important, the quality of the ' food we serve is what really counts. We use 100% beef in our a hamburgers, and it ' s purchased locally, as are most of our other food products and condiments. And all must meet our high quality standards. We ' re justifiably proud of our spotless kitchens, and invite tours by Scout, school and club groups to observe first-hand how we turn out a meal in less than a minute. We can also prepare orders of almost any size for parties, picnics or club meetings. And we invite charitable organi- zations to let us lend a hand. We ' re glad to be here . . . and thanks for visiting us. Please hurry back! 190 - ADS BODDY CONSTRUCTION Boddy Const.
