Front Row — Larry McHenry, President; Karri Jones, Vice-president. Mr. Salvo presents four-year pins to seniors Cheryl Muldermans and Larry McHenry for their faithful service to band. The 1973-74 Marching band is directed by Mr. Salvo. When it came time for the Homecoming parade, the band was ready to head the parade. The band played for the March-of-Dimes to welcome the people after their long sixteen-mile walk. Playing during all the home football games, the MHS Marching Band brightened the half-times with a variety of presentations. They were again participants of the U. of M. Band Day and the Memorial Day parade. 25

He is responsible for the half-time shows at the Varsity football games and pep band playing between the J.V. and Varsity basketball teams. The band also gave three concerts this year under Mr. Salvo’s direction. A TIME FOR MUSIC 27
