Unde th guidanc o iourlenTors — Joanne Keeler, President; Rich Pietroski, Vice-President; Ann Randall, Secretary; and Karen Lenn, Treasurer — this year’s Student Council got off to a flying start with the Homecoming Festivities. With Ann Randall taking charge of the committee, Homecoming ’74 became a super success. Following this, the council worked on getting a new stereo sound system for the school and then went on to other activities. Next came the annual Christmas dance headed by Daniel Hyslop and Sandy Miller. With snow on the ground, a song in the heart and music by Freeman James, everyone left in the yuletide spirit. After semester break, work was begun on a Spring Carnival to break the monotony after basketball. In addition to other activities such as assemblies, the council also sponsored the annual Viking Week. A few of the pictures of Viking Week ’73 are featured on this page. All in all, Student Council once again had a very productive year! Third Row: Mr. Patterson. Second Row: Ann Randall, Rich Pietroski. First Row: Joanne Keeler, Karen Lenn. 19
