We dedicate our 1971 Viking to you: To the loyal supporters who cheered or cried for our teams at a sports events. To the student who struggled to achieve his scholastic goals. To the teachers who were always there, as friends or as faculty members. To the administration, whose patience never ran out and who listened to our problems, no matter how small. To the special service people who made our school something to be proud of. To the club or organization member who made the heart of our school beat a little faster with their constant activities. To the people who participated in sports, who made Fridays game days something to look forward to. To the people who made our dances lively and fun. To the alumni who look back with pride. To the people who hold their heads a little higher because they are from Marysvil le. To anyone who has ever walked through Marysville High School and who understands the beauty and aliveness of it.

The world stands out on either side No wider than the heart is wide; Above the world is stretched the sky, - No higher than the soul is high.
