Sidelines, floor cheers, hello cheers, good luck cheers, and routines must be reviewed and perfected again and again. New cheers must be patiently taught and old cheers must remain in memory. Daily signs of upcoming games for girls and boys basketball and wrestling must be painted and hung. Weekly locker decs must be made and hung. New ideas for pep rallies and homecoming must be originated. To sum it up, cheerleaders must have a great deal of patience, confidence, obligation, understanding, a willingness to cooperate, creative minds, and athletic skill. 'SE i i g ! ! Aan I.fiE1l'IJ.'B.3AX.LLiL.'Ln Mwlmnouglm VEGJEQELLQS and ii' ' The Lady Monarchs posted a winning season with a 12-10 record and made it to Sectional finals in their first year as Class AAA. With a CBL record of 10-6, the Monarchs finished 3rd in the league. The team was lead by co-captains seniors Phyllis Soller and Tammy Rausch. Pam Gould finished the season with most steals and assists and averaged 13.5 points per game. Jodie Hyland led the team with a total of 112 rebounds. The winning free throw percentage award went to Jenny Winter who also had the best field goal percentage. Overall, the Lady Monarchs had a successful season.
