Business XA Students in vocational agriculture studied many different areas in the agriculture field. The Freshman and Sophomore classes learned to properly care for many different species of animals, work on small engines and wire electrical circuits. Learning was extended beyond the classroom through field trips to cattle farms, sheep farms, and the Farm Science Review. Many of the students completed wood and metal shop projects which they will exhibit at the Union County and State Fair. The Junior and Senior Vocational Agriculture classes studied many prac- tices that apply to both farm management and Ag. Business, focusing on the pro- duction of crops, animal science, as well as finances involved in running a farm. Field trips to the County Auditor, area horse farms and hands-on experiences on the 48 acre school farm all helped to fur- C' ther emphasize important principles in agriculture.
