The Bulldogs, coached by Bob johnson, finished the season in second place in the NCKL. They had 9 wins against 10 losses during the regular season. They finished fourth in an invitational tourna- ment at Highland Park of Topeka. They entered the regional tour- nament at Clay Center. The Bullpups showed promise for future years by losing only 4 of 17 games. The freshman team completed the season by winning first place in a tournament at Concordia. The ignets ' TRACK Coach Stehley addresses his returning lettermen. Standing they are Gary Miller, Frank King, Ronald Tryon, Bill Buck, Raymond Scheibe, Bob Peeks, and Gene Wassenberg. Kneeling are Ed Martinez, Eldred Smith, Lloyd Richardson, jim Nider, Ralph Kelley, and Coach Stehley. The 1952 track squad will be built around 12 lettermen. Head Coach, Jim Stehley, expects a good sized turn-out after the season shifts into full swing. Coach Stehley reports that the whole squad will have to put in many hours of hard work before MHS can be considered a threat in the meets. Coach Stehley reports that the following are expected to produce points this year for the Bulldog thinclads: R. Kelley, G. Wassenberg, E. Smith-440, L. Richardson, B. Smith, 1. Wassenberg-dashes, E.
