foreword Marycrest is often referred to as a Catholic Liberal Arts college. But Marycrest goes far beyond this. To students, it is a place for learning, for preparing for a profession, and for mak- ing friends. Parents find in it a means of enriching their chil- dren's lives and culminating their academic, religious, and social training. Administrators and professors at Marycrest see it as an opportunity to start an unending influence on the minds and lives ofits students. Marycrest is something different to everyone who comes in contact with it. All eyes find something novel about it, and this novelty is Marycrest. In the 1969 yearbook, we attempt to view Marycrest through all these eyes. In order to give the fullest defnition as is possible, we look at Marycrest people and attempt to jind the many ways they see this Catholic Liberal Arts college.
