Founder's Day Dedication of Rohlman hall, new junior-senior dormitory, was the highlight ol the sixth annual Founder's Day, Oct. 7. The hall was named after the Most Rev. Henry P, Rohlman, late bishop ol Davenport, at whose request Mother Mary Geraldine founded the college in i939. Keynote speaker for the ceremonies commemo- rating Mother Mary Geraldine was Dr. Earl H. Hanson, superintendent emeritus of Rock island public schools. For freshmen the beginning of school was meeting new people, a Freshman Orientation Program, the rush of registration and, hopefully, little time to be homesick. For upperclassmen it was renewing old acquaintances, moving into new dorms and moving another year closer to graduation. A record l,O65 students enrolled at Marycrest this year.
