The Center was the place where the action was for Cresters this year-the place where they became humanly involved with the community. This, its second year, was a vital one for the Center. Achieving permanent status on campus, it offered participation in more than twelve full-time and part- time proiects for at least one-fourth at the student body. Center projects bring Cresters in contact with the realities of lite, with the world in which they must live as responsible Christians. With the increased enthu- siasm of a growing membership the Center encom- passed a larger part of the community this year, adding Upward Bound, Community Action Proiect, Pine Knoll Nursing Home, CIC, and PAVLA to its projects. This year Marycrest activists worked with all age levels . . . from reading lciddy stories to youngsters at Friendly House to giving hairdos to golden-agers at Pine Knoll Home. And the action has only begun! Catholic Interracial Council: llett to rightl Nancy Gregorich Mayna Stanclll Jeanne O Brien and Lynne Tague
