HOME ECONOMICS CLUB promotes the activity of women in this field. This year the club sponsored a trip to Century Studio, a demonstration at the electronic oven and the Spring Fashion Show. Modern Dance Club llett to rightl Kathy Shuman, presidentg Peg Austgen, vice president, Cheryl Lamps, his- toriang Pat McDonald, secretary, and Denise Fuhrman, publicity. 56 MODERN DANCE CLUB promotes a favorable environment tor the cre- ation of dance for artistic growth and for the enioyment and educa- tion ot others. The group performed at Studio Night and the Fine Arts Festival.

TRI-TAU is an education organization designed to acquaint students with the standards of the teaching profession and with national, state and local education associations with which Marycrest is affil- iated. Alpha Delta Theta ALPHA DELTA THETA is a national professional sorority for medical technologists. Members worked in community service protects such as distributing information on blood banking facilities and providing a Science Day for high school stu- dents. CHICAGO CLUB is a social organ- ization open to everyone. The club sponsored a dance at The Clayton House in December and a Christmas party at St. Vincent's with St. Am- brose. The CENTRAL ILLINOIS CLUB and IOWA CLUB of Marycrest ioined with St. Ambrose this year. They cooperated in sponsoring social events throughout the year.
