LEADERSHIP Effective leadership incor- porates an understand- ing of self, individuals, and the group process. A poten- tial leader must attain this un- derstanding before success follows. When working as a leader one must make sure that followers feel a sense of encouragement, security, loyalty and thanks. It is in this manner that goals are reached and plans are carried out. The Residence Life staff and Suzanne Comley and Kelly Gould, President and Vice-President of College Republicans, are off to a meeting. student leaders underwent a vigorous training period before the start of the school year. The ideal behind the training was that of developing leadership skills. These students and staff members attended countless meetings where they were in- structed in such areas as time planning, coping strategies and organization of events. This in- struction led each person to- ward becoming yet another successful leader of MWC. Jay Bradshaw and Joe Mancuso discuss upcoming events on campus. Lisa Ferreira Executive Coor- dinator of S.A. is busy getting ready for the refrigerator rental season. The S.A.
