MOVING IN — FROM Will ail this ever fit into one bedroom? A typical dad! What would we do without them? The weekend of August 23rd, stu- dents and parents arrived at MWC. After weeks of deciding what to bring and what not to, students piled all their belongings into boxes. How amazing that everything that was once found all over the house is now crammed into the back of the family car. Parents found it especial- ly difficult to find a parking space this year due to the new walkway. Adding to this problem was the rain which lasted most of the week and resulted in some slippery mud. After everything was in the room, students started to unpack, organize and decorate their rooms, ready to start another semester at MWC. Freshmen cars, all packed up, flood the gates on a rainy morning. George Wiggonton, R.A. in Custis, issues keys to Fresh- men. Student leaders help the Freshmen move in. ODening ' Moving In

BOXES TO BEAUTY For most students their dorm rooms become a way to express themselves and their possessions. After lay- ing the carpet, a great ne- cessity especially in the winter when the floors be- come ice cold, most stu- dents begin hanging post- ers and pictures on the walls. Each one makes the room look a little more like home. Many students opt for lofts, a great way to es- cape making the bed and providing much more space in the room. Others have added hammocks, boats?!? and bars to heighten the uniqueness of their dorm rooms. Is there a campus? ' Park Office on What ' s a kayak doing in your room?
