The patrol works within the school and on the school buses. Their duties are: (1) Directing the traffic in the halls during the change of classes. (2) Keeping order in the school cafeteria, and (3) Keeping order on the buses. Advisor H. R. Williams 61

The New Homemakers of America is the national organization of Negro pupils studying homemaking in junior and senior high schools in the states having separate schools for Negroes. Some of the proposes of the New Homemakers of America are: (1) To promote individual growth by developing physical, social and moral qualities. (2) To promote better home living. (3) To provide wholesome recreational activities. (4) To act as a unit for giving service to the school, community, state, and nation. Advisor Mrs. M. J. Holley 60

The New Fanners of America is a national organization of boys studying vocational agriculture in public secondary schools. The organization has continued to develop rapidly. On June 30, 1961 the active membership totaled 53,259 in 1,250 chapters in 15 states. The primary aim of the New Farmers of America organization is the development of agricultural leadership, cooperation, citizenship, and patriotism. Our annual activities are (1) to sponsor a chapel program (2) to sponsor our annual Parents-Son Ban- quet (3) to participate in the Future Farmers Foundation contests and (4) to support the N.F.A. camp project.
