DEDICATION In recognition of his untiring efforts to maintain the high stand- ards of our school, Mary Potter, we, the members of Annual Staff, dedicate this yearbook to our principal, Mr. Jimmie Vaughn Morris. THE PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE TO SENIORS It is with utmost pleasure that I congratulate each of you for your diligence and perserverance during your years of study and prepara- tion. You have reached a milestone which will enable you to begin to take your respective places in a dynamic, competitive, and ever-changing society. Since you entered this beloved institution, you have witnessed the world ' s rapid transition from the Atomic, to the Sputnik, to the Space age. These transitions have created prob- lems on one hand and infinite possibilities on the other. Many chal- lenges and unsolved problems await you. The flow of new knowledge must come from you. I am certain that progress will be continuously made by you. As one who has stood at this same threshold of adventure, I wish for you God ' s blessings and all the good that comes to those who have labored so hard to prepare for the role of leadership. 3
