Orchestra The Music Department of Mary Manse could well be pleased with the achievements of the Orchestra during the past year. Com- posed of members from all classes, the group played at the lnvestiture ceremony in October and the Christmas concert in which they were combined with the Choir. They also provided the music at the President's Convo- cation in November. The highlight of the year was the graduation exercises where such favorites as uPomp and Circumstance ushered the newly graduated women. 89

Student Sthuol Council Student Spiritual Council is the organization which guides and brings enriching spiritual activities to the students of Mary Manse. The membership consists of all full-time Catholic students enrolled at the college. The policy-making body is the Central Board com- posed of the moderator, Sister Mary Kathleen, offi- cers, and committee chairmen from the various classes. In fulfilling personal sanctificotion of each individual, S.S.C. has acquired its newest duty of the organiza- tion and execution of the retreat plans for the entire student body. S.S.C.
