Arts and Forum Lecture Series The Birds, one of the most popular of oil Greek comedies, had for its feature a speaking chorus-a highlight of any Notional Players' production of the Greek classic. Satire, wit and general fun abounded in the play, as presented in a new acting'version by Walter Kerr. The Feis Eireann, a group of young singers, dancers and instrumentalists from Ireland, traced the history of Irish music in their March performance. This historical development moved from the music loved by an early Gaelic king to the sophisticated music influenced by the continent. The group ap- peared in a return engagement this year. Historian and lecturer, Dr. Arthur Schlesinger was the author of two Pulitzer Prize winning books. The second of these books was A Thousand Days, a memior of the late President Kennedy, whom he had served as an assistant. He explained his views on Viet Nam. 64
