Preludes, a literary supplement, was complied under the direction of Jane Fauble and Lynne Grindle. The art work and the literary pieces were submitted by the student body. Scott Bode and Judith Puffenberger were kept busy guiding the publicity of the col- lege throughout the year.

Some members of Student Council made the trip to Appalachia. Here Peg Graber compared the routes to take with Mr. Yezbick, the generous faculty member who volunteered to drive the truck. Packing the truck with goods for Appalachia were Regina Flahie and several stronger helpers. Mr. Yezbick started the truck, donated by the Avis firm for the trip. One mile from the exit to Berea, the truck needed a little sustenance . . . gas. Despite the slight delay, the trip was a success and all had a safe return. 95

The staff included bianding from lefn, Ruth Re'nenberger, Kathy Wilko, Karen Gwynne, Karen O'leary, Sue Ci- eslukowski, Mary Ann Quilter, $eaied from lem, Claudia Bowen, Sue Gladieux and Marsha Jenkins.
