We Could Have Danced Royal Roses , the annual Student Council dance, held this year at the Com- modore Periy Ballroom on February 12, was the scene of the announcement of Mary Manse Collegels candidate to the Glamour Magczzine contest for the Ten Best Dressed College Girls. Mary Elizabeth Gorman, a junior, was our nominee for the competition. Miss Gorman won the event, sponsored by the Campus Crier, from a vote of the entire student body. Runners-up in the competition were Sandra Versprille, sophomore, Agnes Tu, senior, and Suzanne Hamilton, freshman. General chairman for the dance was Mary Smith, student Council President.
