Arts And Forum This year's Arts and Forum series was varied to suit every0ne's taste. The three programs dealt with such diverse topics as drama, religion, and govern- ment. In january the National Players presented Hamlet and Twelfth Night. Because of the drawing power of the plays, they were an immediate sellout. In February an Ecumenical Dialogue was held. Its aim was to foster understanding between faiths. Doctor Donald Heintschel, I.C.D. and Doctor C. Umhau Wolf discussed similarities and differences between Catholicism and Lutheranism. Dialogue among brothers is one of the dramatic means of achieving the goal of unity. Emphasis on democracy and education was the theme of Senator Eugene McCarthy's speech at the final forum program. Senator McCarthy pointed out that democracy is a form of life Whose ideals present a challenge to the future. Even discriminating people attend Forums. ww-1 - ' .3 ,,u.,, ai Q , S 1' 15' 19 ij , . ,F 7,0 ,i JL .f QI ,, gs ,, . , f Dx isssaff ,trauma . 1 . iiasgepzf 1 x wie V' 7' new 5 'rr 4. .S To be or not to be . . . 74 Senator meets Forum chairman and Reverend Mother i l V '- f:.. Newspaper In its second year of publication, the Campus Crier continues to fulfill the need for communication on the Mary Manse campus. Initiated in 1964 as an answer to this need, this student publication consists of four pages devoted to campus news, features, columns, and other stories of interest to the student body. Originally published quarterly during the 1964- 65 term, the Campus C rier is now published monthly to better serve its readers. Throughout this past year, the staff, headed by editor, Mary Lee Rietzke, and faculty advisor, Mr. Francis Yezbick of the English Department, has worked diligently to publish a newspaper meeting college standards. Preludes, a literary supplement to the newspaper, is published annually in the spring of the year. This magazine includes the literary efforts of students who wish to submit their work for publication. Nuff' Yearbook editors, Cathy and Mary, begin the big job. Radio Radio is another media by which Mary Manse Col- lege is presented to the City of Toledo. Through its own radio program, Mary Manse Presents, the city has an opportunity to hear talented reading, singing, and musical performances. Such a program is indeed an asset to our community. Girls await air time. 76 staff of Campus Crier works to meet a deadline. Yearbook Busy and hard working, aptly describes the Brescian Staff through the 1964-1965 year. Many hours of planning work, and thought are in the make- up of any yearbook, and the Brescian is no exception. Nevertheless the Brescum Staff put forth that added effort that we feel goes into making our book a little bit better. In light of this, the Brescian Staff wishes its readers many enjoyable hours filled with happy memories.
