Public Relations staff discusses new ideas for promotion of the College. Public Relations Public Relations is responsible for publicizing the activities of Mary Manse College. This is accomplish- ed through the radio, television, and newspaper com- mittes. Because of the expansion of the college, Public Relations has become an important organization on the campus. With this expansion has come an ever increasing desire to make known her contributions to the surrounding community. Improving public relations on an individual basis was accomplished through Speaker's Bureau, which sends out Mary Manse talent to clubs and organizations. Drama Mary Manse Drama Club, newly reorganized in October, is open to students interested in dramatics and communication arts. At monthly meetings, mem- bers discuss and evaluate current productions, both professional and amateur. Experience in the tech- niques of stage lighting and make-up are offered. Several one-act plays were presented. Among them were Love Takes lfVings, Hospital Zone, The Red Goblet, and Undertow. Dramatic skits, narratives, and interviews were presented every Sunday night through the year over Station VVTOL at 8:30 p. m. 1111-1 Drama members prepare for tryouts to cast a new play.

Humanities Humanities Club functions with the purpose of providing activities for those interested in the arts. Under the direction of the moderator, Miss Ioan Hill, this organization offers to Mary Manse st11- dents opportunities for enlightenment in literature, art, drama, and music. Interest in these fields is broadened by trips to the Toledo Museum of Art, presentation of guest speakers, and trips throughout the Toledo area to take advantage of the various dramatic and musical presentations staged. The Humanities Club sponsored a paperback book mobile on campus again this year. Proceeds from the sale were donated to the Memorial Library Fund. 1 Humanities Club officers i .. .f-If I' 5' gn M i iw 4, i. ,X U Taking a break from their active schedule, Humanities members pose for a picture.
