Student Council Members of the 1964-1965 Student Council found themselves engrossed in many activities. Many changes were made on the campus this year. The Mary Manse Student Handbook was revised and new activity cards were distributed. One major change was the election methods for Student Council of- ficers. Self-nomination, campaigning and petition signing are few of the elements of the new pro- cedure. Other activities included: Mother-daughter luncheong Student-Faculty Committeeg Student Council danceg Movie programg VVelcome Weekg School play, Royal Gambit Cherry Blossom Festa and many others. 1964-1965 Student Council officers were: Mary Smith, presidentg Terrie Raymondg vice-presidentg Judy Lahetta, secretaryg and joan Moran, treasurer. 'Tis -1-. Sodalists leave for their annual retreat. Sodali ty Our Lady's Sodality is not merely an organization, but a challenge to commit our everyday life to Christ under the assistance of Mary, His mother. Of- ficers of the Sodality are: Father james Sullivan, Director, Sister Mary Raphael, Moderatorg Mary Anne Spurk, Prefectg Teresa Lause, Vice-Prefectg Helena Louviaux, Treasurerg Margaret Bayer, Sec- retary. Since Sodality's goal is to deepen spirituality through an active apostolate, Sodalists visit Saint Anthony's Villa and rest homes in the Toledo area. The annual project, a closed retreat, held at The Monastery of the Precious Blood convinced the sodalists that it is wonderful to be committed to Christ through Mary. Sodality members gather in Lourdes Hall for their weekly meeting to discuss new ideas for the imitation of Mary. 63
