Because intelligent Catholics should read newspapers which give the Catholic viewpoint, the students of The Mary Louis Academy go over the top every Friday in subscribing to and distributing our diocesan weekly. Each Tablet Representative had done a magnificent job this year in securing one hundred per cent cooperation from her classmates. Some moreover, have exceeded this by attaining as high as one hundred fifty one per cent in their official rooms. Giba, Mrs. w. cramnl' rxisfi-Y' Plafp The Ladies' Auxiliary achieved a unity ot purpose with the Fathers' Club through several combined ven- tures, among which was the successful Joint Card Party in November. One of the first social events of the season was a Fashion Show held at the Academy. This annual event has always proved to be very enjoyable. At the Christmas Party given for the Faculty, the Peanuts from St. John's Home in Rockaway, entertained with their singing. ln May, a Luncheon and Card Party was held at the Garden City Hotel, to raise funds for the St. Josephs' Scholarships.
