CVM Our Fall Term Officers: C. Stauch, Vice President, M. Harrison, President, J. Boudreau, Secretary, arrange the exhibit. Our Spring Term Officers: M. Lauro, Secretary: C. Stauch, President: B. Meinzer, Vice President, work diligently. 1 my Qjgdflji' Qffmfe Ufzhhy Ugezz is Four years ago the Hobby Club was inaugurated at The Mary Louis Academy. Since then, we have gained many new members, who are all interested in the same thing-learning how to do something useful with their hands. To teach girls how to profitably spend every moment of their spare time is the aim of our club. By knitting, crocheting, doing leather work, em- broidering tablecloths, and putting edges on hand- kerchiefs, the members fulfill this purpose. Every Tuesday afternoon under the careful giudance of Sister Regina Catherine, our Moder- ator, beginners are given lessons in making such useful articles as argyles, gloves, stoles, sweaters, pocketbooks, and the special project for this term -straw hats. The girls who are more experienced spend an enjoyable hour perfecting their creative ability. At the spring exhibit, the talents of our members were proudly displayed before the entire faculty and the student body. Since there are so many girls in the Hobby Club, the picture below represents only those who have been members for at least two years. Front Row: M. Lauro, C. Stauich, B. Meinzer. Second Row: C.
