A. develops a spirit of sports- manship closely linked with a lively school spirit. MAGNETS . . . The artist's palette symbolizes the eforts of our prize-winning, hard-working art club. LATIN CLUB . . . These girls keep the ancient lun- guage of the Romans alive through plays, read- ing and study. GLEE CLUB . . . Joined by the universal desire to make music, these girls spend afternoons hap- pily singing. ORCHESTRA . . . Individual musicians become group artists in playing for important school events and assemblies. DEBATING . . . During the many hours devoted to debating after school, poise, self-confidence, and the ability to think clearly are developed. S.S.L .... The Student Service League is a graphic illustration of student government in action. LECERCLE SAINT LOUIS . . . French Club brings to the student a knowledge of the artistic, cul- tural and political background of the French people. CIRCULO ESPANOL . . . Spanish Club acquaints the members with our Latin-American neigh- bors and helps them to understand their culture and customs. ERSTES DEUTCHES KRANZCHEN . . .
