illiilffy akzbbafe. . . this yearbook to Saint Joseph, our Guide to the Garden of Heaven, ever mind- ful of our debts of gratitude to him, We have studied for four years, under th . . . e patronage of Saint Joseph, the kindly guardian of our beloved teachers. Through his intercession, we have moulded our characters, strengthened our faith and devoted our labors to his spouse and his Foster Son. As we leave now the portals of an academy where he is honored and esteemed, we do not leave his guidance. As he once led Mary and the Christ Child through the perils that attended them in the persecution of Herod, so we pray that he will lead us through lite to the Garden of God's love.

Zwxfmfm HE hours of work are over, the ad blanks, scissors and glue are put away, but at last the product of our efforts is in our hands. The Crusader is the work of many hands, for without your co- operation it would never have been published. We are indebted to you, the Student Body, and the Faculty for your untiring assistance to us, and to Saint Joseph our Patron, who answered our prayers for its success. Memories fill its pages which we hope to carry through our lives. They are memories of work and play that are pictured here, and of friends who helped us, who we hope will not forget us. We deliver this Crusader to you feeling fully repaid for our time and labor in the knowledge that you will enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed creating it. JUNE HERBERT '47 a
