2--s We are now near the end of another school year. Many will reflect on these days past and be happy because they have done their bestg others will have a feeling of remorse brought about by wasted effort. lack of ambition and an unwillingness to pay the price for success. To our seniors, who are about to enter the great school of Life, we would like to offer a parting bit of advice. The following paragraphs could prove helpful to those students who will be in high school next year. First. your work is good if it represents your best. This may be far less than someone else can do, but because you have honestly tried and given your own heart's blood-you can look upon your work and call it good. Your work is good if it has been done in loyalty. In these days when there is so much sham, so much pretense and so much disloyalty, there is a need for people who have some definite convictions regarding the Absolutes. Find those things to which you can give your best, determine what deserves your sincere support, and then give it the best you have. Your work is good if it is conscientiously done. If in sincerity you have given care to the most minute details, you can pronounce your work good. Only the person who takes his task seriously can expect success. If your work has been honest, it has been good. If each detail will bear the clear light of day-then work is good. If there is nothing to conceal, nothing to evade, and then you in all seriousness can say that your work was honestly done-then your work is good. Lastly, your work is good if it represents a desire to be of service. The person who lives unto himself, seeks only his personal well being and happiness, will ever be happy. One of the laws of life is that we find happiness only by giving it to others. The worker passes on but the work goes on. The good we do today lives after we have left the stage of life. Let us so work and live today that when we come to the end of life we can look back with satisfaction knowing that we have in some small way, at least, made life more bearable for the part of that vast throng of humanity has been our duty and opportunity to serve.
