's Message The 1976 Eagle is the student's story of a scholastic year of failures and triumphs in a dedicated effort to make Mary Holmes College a better institution of higher learning. There were times when things seemed to go wrong and discouraging words rang out from all sides, but with an optimistic view and bit of Shaky confidence we moved forward . I would like to thank Miss Girtha Clark Cmiss-year- bookb and the Annual Staff, who when things got boring most of them stayed around to make things more pleas- ant. Thanks are definitely extended to the advisors, Miss Gail Nolls and Mr. James T . Stewart. This is your yearbookg it may not contain your picture as often as you would like , but this is your memory.
