We can never forget the basketball games, the pep rallies, the dances, and all the events which made up the 1963-64 school year. Planning this RAMBLER has been a devoted task for each staff member. The yearbook staff would like to thank everyone who had a part ln the planning ofthe RAMBLER. We would especially like to thank Mrs. Jane Gray, our sponsor, for all the work and encouragement she contributed. The RAMBLER staff hopes that you will cherish the memories brought to you in the RAMBLER of 1963-64. Cslafesforo, Qeoryzkz l .A 7- 1. O I2 She came to us as a "stand-in" for one year, but she soon found a place in the hearts of each of her students. With a pleasant smile and a word of cheer, she can brighten the day for everyone. As a teacher she is tops. For a personal friend, she can't be beat. Because each of us has grown to love her in such a short time we would like to dedicate our 1963-64 RAMBLER to Mrs. Jane Gray. fZOQ21k21IsfI'ahbn twrzkzczgoafs Wessaye It is a great deal of pleasure for me to express appreciation to the 1964 Rambler for providing us with this finepublication. It is difficult to appraise correctly the value of a yearbook, because this record becomes more valuable to you as you grow older. In the years ahead, I feel sure this picturesque record will recall many fine school experiences for you, your friends, and classmates. The hard work of the teachers is par- tially compensated for when we see the educational growth which is taking place among the students. For this, we are proud of you and the fine work you are doing. Best wishes as you continue to work and plan for your future. Chairman of Division of Education DR. Firm upon her grassy lowlands, May she ever stand With her proud and noble spirit, Echo through the land. Dear ole high school, dear ole high school, Ne'er her standards fail. Hail to thee our Alma Mater, WENDELL BRANNEN Pittman High, all hail. Serving as president of the senior class has certainly been one of the highest honors in my school career. Speaking on behalf of the class, I would like to say that our twelve years in school have been a period in our lives we'1l never forget. We will always love and cherish the school where we've gained so much advice, knowledge, and responsibility. It is said that tcmorrows nation depends on todays youth. We hope to take an active part in making our nation a stronger one. x csenzbr 665s Wcers Daniel Lord, Treasurerg Wendell Brannen, Presidentg Jean Deal, Secretary: and Phil King, Vice President.
