OFFICERS AND SPONSORS ' LaNora Hood, President: Truman Spittler, Vice-President: Mildred Gallatin, Secretary- Treasurerg Donald Craig. Reporter: Miss North and Mr. Hurst, Sponsors. SENIORS M.C.H.S. registered thirty-nine freshmen in 1936. Veloa Montgomery, LaNora Hood, Dean Spires, and Denver Mumford were chosen as officers. Miss Lovett and Mr. Garrigus sponsored the group in their fall party and Twin Lakes picnic. Additions brought the sophomore roll to forty. Miss Gallatin and Mr. Garrigus were assisted by Dale Sinclair, Thelma Burger, Paul Veach, and Haven Hammond. An April Fools' party was followed a few weeks later by a second trip to Paris. Thirty-eight juniors were led by Junior Doran, LaNora Hood, Thelma Burger, and Mildred Gallatin, with Miss North and Mr. Kirkton as sponsors. Great events were the carnival, Cakewalk, Hallowe'en party, His Ozark Cousin, the Junior-Senior banquet, and the inevitable trip to Paris. The class entered its last year with thirty-seven members. Albert Husted enrolled before Christmas. Mrs. Galbreath directed Aunt Tillie Goes to Town, and we were entertained at the Junior-Senior banquet. The year closed with the usual Senior Week activities.
