The appointed members are named when they are freshmen and serve all through their four years in high school. The home room representatives are elected annually and serve one year. The J.R.C. Council directs the students in carrying out projects suggested by the national Junior Red Cross, to promote the welfare of needy people, at home and throughout the world.
