An Appreciation To those not on the Triangle staff, but who have lent us a helping hand, we wish to say Thank You. As the years '40 and '41 progressed, we found that the successful publication of a yearbook depends upon many, many more people than we had realized. During our sales campaign we sent plans of the book to seven prominent men of this section. We heartily thank G. William Ropp, superintendent of schools: Jennings Randolph, United States representative: C. H. Dailey, mayor of Martinsburg: W. H. S. White, president of Shepherd College: Carroll R. Miller, secretary and manager of Appalachian Apple Service: J. Nevin Kilmer, attor- ney, and Gilbert C. McKoWn, editor of the Martinsburg Journal, for their letters of enthusiastic praise of these plans. Students are the most important part of the publication of any annual. The students of Martinsburg High School have made this one possible. To the girls in the Charm Revue: to Frances Wilburn, Ilene Wintermoyer, and June Wilson for helping with personality sketches and typing: to Joyce Fangmeyer, Charles Gantt, and Beall Rodgers for art: Jack Shufelt, Calvin Shipper, and Walter Dinte- men for photography: and so to all the other students not in the Press Club who are boosters and buyers of the Triangle, we owe a great deal. Every member of the faculty has had a place in putting the Tri- angle on the market. We owe our gratitude to all the teachers for their co-operation and most especially to Miss Darby, our faculty adviser Last and by all means most important, we must mention our ad- vertisers. They are the foundation upon which our financial success rests. So, read the ads . . . patronize the stores . . . We are proud of them. .-.89-.
