Quill and Scroll Quill and Scroll, the international honorary society for high school journalists, was formed for the purpose of reward- ing individual achievement in journalistic work, The Martinsburg chapter was organized April 18, 1939. Members are chosen from the upper third of the junior or senior class who have done outstanding work in journalism on the yearbook or school paper.
