Vocational School The Vocational School was formed during the 1939-40 school term and has progressed very rap- idly since then. The school is divided into two sections, an A group and a B group. The A group students have all day vocational training while the B group students have half-day training in vocational work and the other half-day is spent in regular classes at the high school building. The boys work on a thirty- hour a week basis with Hfty per cent shop work and fifty per cent class work. Upon completion of their two years regular high school work and two years vocational work they receive both a state trade cer- tihcate and a regular high school diploma. They work with Hrst-class equipment and have completed a number of projects such as mak- ing play-ground swings, waste baskets, and flag poles for the Board of Education. They have wired the new Vo-Ag building with electricity, as well as making numerous improvements at the old high school building. On April 18 they held open house with the public invited in during the day to see the boys at work and their accomplishments. Back Row: Mr. Files. Mr.-Miller.
