Among these include: The First Annual Star Wars Disco Dance, Sing, Broadway Showcase, and many student-faculty activities. The Executive Board also al- lots money to other school functions, honor societies, teams and clubs, and was instrumental in the purchase of a new sound system for the school. The Advisory Council, consisting of students, parents and teachers who meet weekly, discusses matters con- cerning school affairs. Recent topics of discussion have been college work- shops, homework and testing proce- dures, and tutoring. Their decisions are not binding, they merely help Mr, Ostrin by suggesting new ideas to benefit the student body. STUDENT GOVERNMENT 19
